Recruiters on Command is currently seeking a Director of Labor and Delivery, Women’s Services.
the Labor and Delivery Unit, Postpartum, and Nursery/NICU Units. Reporting directly to the
Chief Nursing Officer, the Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective
nursing care. This role includes accountability for the clinical competency of staff, resource
management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
● Provide 24/7 leadership and oversight for all unit operations.
● Develop and implement strategic and operational goals that align with organizational
objectives.
● Manage staff activities, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
● Ensure all nursing practices meet compliance standards and integrate evidence-based
practices.
● Oversee budgeting and financial management to maintain operational efficiency.
● Enhance patient care experience and maintain high standards of safety and
professionalism.
Qualifications:
● Active RN license in North Carolina.
● Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Master’s degree highly preferred.
● Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in a management role.
● Required certifications: BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
The Director of Women’s Services will play a crucial role in mentoring staff, leading quality
improvement initiatives and ensuring excellence in patient care across the units they oversee.
This position calls for a dedicated leader with proven hospital operational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
