Recruiters on Command is currently seeking a Director of Women's Health.
The Director of Women's Services oversees all activities and resources of the department to
ensure the achievement of its objectives within a healthcare setting.
Essential Functions
● Develops and implements goals, plans, and standards for the department that align with
the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical guidelines of the organization.
● Manages department operations, including patient care, information technologies,
service level decisions, and complaint management to meet performance and quality
standards.
● Oversees staffing activities such as hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplinary actions
along with ongoing education initiatives.
● Manages departmental budgets, ensuring operations comply with financial allocations.
● Coordinates and oversees internal and external audits.
● Promotes a professional development-friendly environment and integrates
evidence-based practices into departmental protocols.
● Serves as a key resource for staff on obstetrical and neonatal issues.
Minimum Education
● Associate’s Degree Required
● Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Required Skills
● Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment, with the ability to operate independently.
● Capable of working effectively under stress.
● Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), and
AWHONN membership.
Licenses
● Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Kentucky.
