Recruiters on Command is currently seeking a Director of Case Managment.
in overseeing the Case Management unit, encompassing clinical resource management,
discharge planning, patient advocacy, clinical social work, and medical necessity assessments.
The Director is accountable for implementing and achieving the outcomes specified in the initial
Utilization Review Plan, focusing on resource utilization, appropriateness of care, and
adherence to the designated Geometric Length of Stay (GLOS) for each patient.
Essential Functions:
● Develop and implement goals, plans, and standards for the department, aligning with the
clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the organization.
● Manage department operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies,
service level determination, and complaint management to meet performance and
quality control objectives.
● Oversee staffing activities such as hiring, training, evaluating, and conducting
disciplinary actions, as well as fostering continuous education.
● Manage departmental budgets, ensure compliance with allocated funding, and oversee
internal/external audits.
● Promote a professional growth environment and integrate evidence-based practices into
operations and clinical protocols.
● Responsible for overall direction and management, including planning, organizing, and
directing all activities, performance improvement in clinical services delivery, and
necessary reporting within the hospital and to government and regulatory bodies.
Education and Certifications:
● Associate’s degree in nursing required.
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
● Current RN license to practice in NC.
Experience:
● At least 3 years of management experience.
This role is critical for ensuring the effective management and operational efficiency of the Case
Management unit, supporting the hospital’s commitment to high-quality patient care.
